Drama Kids

We use drama to develop lifelong skills

Helping children find their voice, express their ideas with confidence and carry the self-belief to thrive. Every Drama Kids Academy class helps your child build real-world communication skills, self-belief and confidence; through playful, high-energy drama they look forward to every week.

We create a structured educational and inclusive space where every child is supported to develop in a way that’s right for them.

Explore Our Classes

Drama Kids Academy uses educational drama to help children and young people build real-life skills; at their own pace, at every age.

Lower Primary

4 to 8 Years

A playful introduction to educational drama. Children practise listening, turn-taking and clear speech through stories, movement and guided role play, developing focus, confidence and cooperation.

Upper Primary

8 to 11 years

More structured storytelling and scene-building. Students develop clearer speaking, stronger listening and better collaboration by shaping ideas, building characters and working in small groups.

Youth Theatre

11 to 18 years

Discussion-led, idea-driven drama for young people. Students explore scripts and devising, practise expressing viewpoints thoughtfully and develop leadership and independence in group work.

“My children attend Drama Kids Derbyshire and I am overwhelmed by everything the academy has given them; confidence, fun, memories, excitement and belief in themselves.”
